Las Vegas Automotive Photography. What can we say? This is our passion! Although automotive photographs are one of the most difficult subjects to shoot, they’re also the most rewarding to us here at The Car Photographers.

Photographing a vehicle takes alot more than just pointing the camera and taking the shot. As a photographer, we must take into account what is behind the subject, where is the light coming from, watching exposure, framing, and, of course, the composition.

Reflections

As photographers, we must be cognizant of reflections. Location! Location! Location! This is key to help with reflections of the shoot. Say, for instance, you’re in a parking lot. You’ll get reflections of painted lines, other cars, light poles, the Las Vegas Strip, and people on your paint. A car is a really large mirror. And to take a photograph of a large mirror without any bad reflections can prove difficult. There are times where you can’t avoid reflections. That’s where special filters and knowledge of gear & technique comes into play. To take it to the next level, it’s best to hire a photographer that is knowledgeable & has what it will take to create the best automotive photography! You need The Car Photographers!

Flash Photography

Don’t you wish you could recreate some of those amazing sunset shots where you can have the car beautifully exposed, while keeping the sky looking amazing? Have you ever tried to capture this exact photo, but your pride and joy ends up terribly underexposed to where you can barely see any details, while the sky is looking great? Or even worse, have the car correctly exposed, but the sky is so overexposed to the point of where it is white and blown out? Believe it or not these are the best times to grab some amazing captures of your beloved vehicle, but you will need the knowledge and tools to do so. Standard Automotive Photoshoot

My experience with large commercial clients such as The History Channel, RM Auctions & Mecum Auctions has given me the experience to produce solid photos that reduce reflections, eliminate glare, and give you the photos you need to use for your “for sale” ads or if you’re just looking for nice photography of your car! I use natural light and may use external off camera flash for light fill to maintain a natural look to the photo. 

Art/Commercial/Events

We develop a concept where we can make nearly any idea come to life! We can keep the idea very simple with natural light in a real location……or can go EXTREME to where we build a concept of placing a car nearly anywhere in the world without having to actually travel there!

This “extreme” process may involve photographing the car in one location while shooting the location background separately at a different time. Then we composite the photos into Photoshop to produce a final product you can call art. Great for wall hangers of your pride and joy and if you really would love to see your car in a location that you do not have access to!
